• Ptarmigan Ridge Elementary - Home of the Mountaineers, Ptarmigan Ridge Elementary serves over 700 students in grades Kindergarten through 5th Grade. • Orting High School - Home of the Cardinals, We serve over 800 students in grades 9-12 on our campus. Recently our school has received multiple state awards for achievement and for our freshman success rate. Orting High School is a high-performing comprehensive high school located in the town of Orting, Washington. Most notably, Orting High School serves students by a myriad of choices based on student pathways and passions. Our Career and Technical Education programs offer classes such as Computer Science, Horticulture, Electronic Music Production, Culinary Arts, Business, and Digitals Photography, as well as many more. Approximately 90% of our students are enrolled in classes where they have access to college credit on our campus from Central Washington University, University of Washington, Pierce College, Clover Park College, and Bates Technical School. Our state ranking system has Orting High School rated as one of the top performing schools in our area. We compete against schools in the 2A South Puget Sound League. We are proud of recent league, district, and state appearances in most of our athletics. Our band, choir, and drama departments are growing and becoming competitive and finely tuned in our community.
